Hollman Angus is a Seed Stock Producer that strives to produce Angus cattle that will improve every sector of the beef industry. This includes raising elite Angus bulls that will calve easy, grow fast and efficiently, be easy to handle, will produce excellent replacement heifers, and steers that return big premiums from their carcass quality.

We also strive to produce heifers that can be shown at all levels of competition and will become outstanding cows with extreme longevity.

Hollman Angus uses and promotes all forms of technology to improve quality and efficiencies including AI, Embryos, Synchronization, Ultrasound, and DNA testing. Each female is treated as an individual and mated to the bull that will produce the maximum quality in her calves.

4th Generation Is Just Getting Started

Hollman Angus was originally part of Hollman Angus Farm that began in 1957 when Henry Hollman purchased his first registered Angus cows. Henry and Marjorie had 6 kids, 5 sons and 1 daughter. All 6 grew up showing Angus breeding heifers at the county and state fair. The herd grew to 120 cows until it was dispersed in 1984. Two of the sons, Rod and Dick maintained the Hollman Angus Farm name with their own cow herds. In 2003 Robert Pavlish became a partner in Dick's growing cow herd and extensive embryo work began buying high quality embryos and Donors. In 2006 the Trout Angus herd was leased. The Trout Cows were high performance, high maternal, and very efficient cows. Many of their herd bulls were top gaining bulls on state wide bull tests. They also did extensive AI to high performance certified meat sires. In 2009 Hollman Angus was created. Hollman Angus continues to help local young 4Hers get started showing by providing heifers for projects and a place to keep them. Hollman Angus consults with buyers of Hollman Angus Females by allowing them to put their bull calves in the bull pen at weaning and collect all the data and sell them on the annual Hollman Angus Influence Bull Sale the second Friday in April.
